- Think ‘downsized’meals – are you buying and preparing too much?
- Use a smaller sized plate or bowl.
- Choose smaller glasses for drinks such as fruit juice.
- Eat slowly - fully enjoy every mouthful of your meal.
- “Top-up” a main meal with a piece of fruit or a pot of low fat yogurt.
- Avoid ‘all-you-can-eat’ and ‘pile-it-high’ restaurants.
- Beware of buffets and BBQs - people tend to eat more as there are more choices.
